Nowadays there is a widespread concern over the news that the college entrance examination will be carried out several times a year in the future.
Some people think this is a good idea. They think this policy will be an important reform of the college enrollment system. It will offer the students more chances to show their true level. In addition, it will reduce the students’ pressure on the college entrance examination.
On the other hand, some people are against this new policy. Firstly, they are worried that several examinations in a year will not really reduce the pressure on students, and instead it may add to their burden. Secondly, in order to prepare for several examinations the teachers will have to make adjustments to the teaching arrangements.
As far as I am concerned, it is worth trying but we should try one or two subjects at first.
