According to the author, everyone has experienced some setbacks in life. But it is the hardship and sufferings that shape us, and it is exactly the solutions to the adversities that add spices to lives.
This is particularly true in my case. A typical case is traced back to my victory of a ping-pang final. I was, as many people thought, no match for the opponent. Though I was much burdened with pressure, I quickly sensed my rival’s incompetence in ball-controlling. Finally I won. Behind the victory were the patience and perseverance needed to overcome fear, coupled with my courage to abandon normal strategies.
So, when in the face of difficulty, firstly, it is advisable to have a positive psychology, being more confident and courageous. Secondly, we’d better give serious consideration to making some practical plans and solutions. In this way, we’ll find there is no obstacle we can not get over.
