Dear Mark,
The Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching. I’d like to invite you to celebrate it with my family because I think it’s a good opportunity for you to experience Chinese traditional culture.
The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the 8^th month in Chinese lunar calendar. On that day the moon is full, which symbols the union of a family. Therefore, wherever we are or however busy we are, we’ll come home to join our family and have dinner together. After dinner, we sit together, enjoying the moon while eating mooncakes, which is round, just like the moon. I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time.
