W: Oh, hello. I read about your club in the paper today and I thought I’d phone to find out a bit more.
M: Yes, certainly, well, we’re a sort of social club for people from different countries. It’s quite a new club — we have about 50 members at the moment, but we’re growing all the time.
W: That sounds interesting.

He never appeared and I am now worried.

W: A white shirt and blue shorts. He carried a dark blue school bag. He had a pair of black shoes and white socks on.
M: Please tell me more information about him.
W: He is eleven years old, about 130 centimeters tall. He has big, brown eyes and wears a pair of glasses. His hair is short. I brought a photograph of him taken recently.
M: Good. I have enough information to start with for now. Please leave your address and phone number. We will call you once we have any news of him.
W: OK.

W: The city of Lincoln is 2,000 years old and there are a lot of interesting buildings to see. The church is in the north of the city just outside the main city center. You can walk to many of Lincoln’s other attractions from the church. It’s not far from the castle. There is a wonderful view of the city from there. Behind the castle there is The Lawn, an old hospital, which is now a museum with shops and a café. You can sit in the beautiful gardens to have lunch or coffee. During the summer, you can have a walking tour leaving from the Tourist Information Center, which is next to the castle. It’s not expensive and lasts about an hour. You can visit all the main attractions on your tour. There are some very interesting museums. The Toy Museum is not far from the Tourist Information Center and has children’s toys and games from the last century. There are shops and a market in the main city center. There are two shopping centers — one is the Waterside Center opposite the market and the other is the St. Mark’s Shopping Center. The St. Mark’s is newer than the Waterside Center and is just in the south of the main city center. In the middle of the city center, there are some beautiful places away from the crowds. For example, you can walk by the river or take a boat trip.
