Nowadays more and more people would rather to look for a job on the Internet than in the job

market. There are many reasons for my preference, one of which is that a job hunter can find ∧
                             their                                          a/his
job conveniently. He needn’t bother to get recommendations from friend. Besides, a job hunter can
                                                      friends
get one by simple sending resumes by e-mail but the success rate is very high. Even if one failed
         simply                      and                                  fails
to make it, he won’t feel embarrassing.
                    embarrassed
I believe job-hunting in the internet will win favor in more and more jobless people
                                        with/among
for its convenient, efficiency and high success rate.

Hi Fellows,
I’m Li Hua, a senior high student from China. I’d like to share something with you. Since the beginning of senior high, the learning burden makes us students feel more stressed. Many of us often sit up late at night fighting for the College Entrance Exam; even a ten-minute break won’t be let go.
As far as I know, lack of sleep does great harm to our health. For one thing, we can’t concentrate in class if we don’t get enough sleep. For another, we may get angry and impatient easily. By the same token, a ten-minute break is definitely necessary, which can help us get rid of tiredness and focus on next class period. A famous proverb goes well, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. How about your situation and opinion?
Looking forward to your reply.

W: Excuse me,sir.
M: Yes?
W: Is this the right way to the Students’ Dining Hall? I’m new here. One of my friends teaches here.
M: Well, let me think. Go along this road and walk across the playground. Then you’ll see the Teaching Building on your left. Go on until you see the Students’ Apartment on your right. The Students’ dining hall is right next to it.
W: How long can I get there on foot?
M: It will take you about ten minutes.
W: By the way, I want to go to the League Office after lunch. How could I get there, please?
M: Go back to the Teaching building. Opposite the Teaching Building is the School Clinic Building. The League Office is in the building.
W: Is it far from the Students’ Dining Hall?
M: Oh, no, it’s just one minute’s walk. After entering the school Clinic Building, you’ll find it easily on the second floor. You can’t miss it.
W: Thanks a lot.
M: You’re welcome.

Text 10
M: Well, I’d love to share with you something about my writing Career. I am Elwyn Brooks White.
Someone asked where I got the idea for Stuart Little and for Charlotte’s Web. Well, many years ago I went to bed one night in a railway sleeping car, and during the night I dreamed about a tiny boy who acted rather like a mouse. That’s how the story of Stuart Little got started.
As for Charlotte’s Web, I like animals and my farm is a very pleasant place to be. One day when I was on my way to feed the pig, I began feeling sorry for the pig because, like most pigs, he was doomed to die. This made me sad. So I started thinking of ways to save a pig’s life. I had been watching a big grey spider at her work and was impressed by how clever she was at weaving. Gradually I worked the spider into the story that you know, a story of friendship and salvation on a farm.
Sometimes I’m asked what made me want to write. I started early—as soon as I could spell. I think children often find pleasure and satisfaction in trying to set their thoughts down on paper, either in words or in pictures. I was no good at drawing, so I used words instead.
